Who Am I?
Hello,
My name is Hannah, and if you are reading this then you most likely are here looking for some assistance or information. I am a Girl Scout, and have been since I was a little girl.
My name is Hannah, and if you are reading this then you most likely are here looking for some assistance or information. I am a Girl Scout, and have been since I was a little girl.
Why Did I Do This?
Being within the Girl Scouts has shaped me into who I am today. Growing up and changing into this person has brought along some challenges. When I was starting out my high school years, I developed some low self-esteem which led into anxiety. Over the years, I have been able to strengthen my mind into gaining more positive self-esteem along with learning how to cope with my anxiety. Likewise, it has been a goal of mine to complete the Bronze, Silver, and Gold Award before I became an adult. Presently, I have my Bronze and Silver Award, and I am currently working on my Gold Award (which is what this website is all about). Upon the beginning of my journey for the Gold Award, I instantly knew what I wanted to do. I wanted to bring together the information of self-esteem along with my experiences to create a workshop for teenagers, or anyone, who suffers from low self-esteem. I also wanted to include the positive side and how to get to said side through a series of information slides along with activities, and I am doing just that.
So Then, What is This?
That is a great question. This website is helping me to spread the wealth of my workshop to anyone who wants to use it. Therefore, my project will live on and continue to help those who might need some assistance within their daily lives. Throughout this website, you will find multiple tools to facilitate your own self-esteem workshop. This includes ice breakers, PowerPoint slides with information pertaining to self-esteem, activities that are broken down into different sections, and the resources I used to find my information along with the toolboxes that go along with the activities. I hope that as you move about this website, you can find something useful to take along with you. Also, if you would like to comment on something, or give me feedback, I have included a blog. Thank you for helping my project continue on.
